Mama Needs a Cocktail
Quarantine is exhausting.

.
Way back in March (i.e. a few years ago), overnight I became chief caregiver, teacher, cleaner, cook, household manager, and husband-taker-carer, in addition to running MiliMili with Rose. It has been... a lot.
.
And the highlight to many of my days? BEDTIME.
Love those kids dearly and unconditionally, but 8pm can never come soon enough.
Thank freakin' goodness for sleep routines and schedules.
.
The next best thing after bedtime? My evening cocktail. (On weekends - it's a naptime cocktail.)
.
Since I have a lemon tree and a gazillion lemons this time of year, this recipe from Caroline Chambers was the perfect refreshing use of my current ingredients.
