4 Parenting Podcasts We are Loving Right Now

momhood show podcast

Momhood Show: We've been listening to this show  - hosted by Brandi Milloy and Orly Shani, since last season and now thoroughly feel like they are our virtual BFFs.

It's a fun, interesting journey each episode - with a variety of experts (like beauty media goddess Susan Yara), gift / shopping guides, and personal (and often hilarious) anecdotes (Orly's story about her son walking in on her and her husband had us ROTFL.)

But this season - it's only one episode in and its EVEN BETTER. Featuring Drew Rios of Rogue & Fox, it was such a relatable, funny, empowering, and emotional episode that we found ourselves staying up late just to finish listening.

(Even cooler: after sliding into their DMs the other day to laugh about recent episode - Kels was asked to do a takeover of the Momhood show Instagram account! It's going down Tuesday April 20th - so be sure to follow along for the fun!)

katie's crib podcast

Katie's CribThis is the show we WISH we had found before we were pregnant (or at least during!) Katie's Crib is hosted by actress Katie Lowes and covers so many great new parenting topics, many of which get thrust upon you once you become a mom: from miscarriage, to C-sections, to post partum depression, to sleep training and geriatric pregnancies - you name it. It all follows pretty in step with Katie's own parenting journey (i.e. when she's potty training her little - she'll do an episode on the topic), so you'll get her relatable side of it all paired with an expert opinion. She often also peppers the episodes with the input of her Hollywood-industry friends - which adds a fun celeb aspect to it all.

modern mommy doc podcast

Modern Mommy Doc: Hosted by Whitney Casares (who has a ton of impressive acronyms after her name - M.D., M.P.H., and F.A.A.P.), the podcast interviews a series of curated experts to help you find the credible advice you're looking for when it comes to taking care of your child and taking care of yourself. It all comes with the commentary of Whitney, a Stanford-trained, board-certified pediatrician, author, speaker, blogger and mom of two. We haven't listened to all her episodes yet, but the How Not To Hate Your Husband After Having a Baby episode is a MUST listen.

mommy's on a call podcast

Mommy's On a Call: This podcast is our entrepreneurial fuel - featuring a mix of successful mama-business founders and useful experts for common parenting woes. We actually found this podcast when our friend Jamie Kolnick was a guest and have been hooked every since. Topics range from work-life-balance, adoption/infertility, coping with grief and loss (Jamie's episode!), homeschooling, to talking to your kids about politics. The show is hosted by Stephanie Uchima-Carney - a mom of three little ones, business strategist and serial entrepreneur who is on a mission to inspire and empower modern mamas.
